NVIWODAs MISSION Is to increase the income of women members through provision of entrepreneurship skills training and development, Micro-Credit support, and information sharing, so that they are able, to play an effective role for sustainable development. NVIWODAs VISION NVIWODA in embracing its mission, it envisions a knowledgeable community of women trained, equipped with entrepreneurship skills, and capable of influencing and making decisions. NVIWODAs PURPOSE Is to develop a community of women members, skilled, knowledgeable and confident, engaged in profitable enterprises participating in the improvement of their economic and social status. To develop and promote entrepreneurial knowledge and skills among the NVIWODA membership To promote the acquisition of technical skills, and technology among women members of NVIWODA. To provide credit facilities to the members of NVIWODA. To improve the access, and utilization of Information to women members of NVIWODA. To develop and improve the management capacity of the NVIWODA Secretariat. Resources needed
2003 AGM On 28th June 2003, NVIWODA conducted its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM), at Care Hotel - Bakuli. The Assembly, witnessed the ceremony of Eleven (11) Community Based 0rganisations drawn from Seven (7) Districts of Uganda, namely: - Kanungu, Kabarole, Ibanda, Kampala, Mpigi, Wakiso and Mukono, receiving their NVIWODA Development Fund -Partnership Grant Award, to support various community women activities in their areas of operation. The Grant cheques were handed over by the Deputy Director of ISIS-WICCE Mrs. Jessica Nkuuhe, who was represented by Mr. Joseph Tumushabe, Sixty Five 65) women members of NVIWODA attended the function.
